Banyan Group is celebrating a huge milestone this year, and the ensuing festivities promise to be appropriately grand and memorable. In the lead-up to the grand opening of its 100th property—the nature-forward Mandai Rainforest Resort—the Singaporean hospitality giant is kickstarting its “100 Journeys” campaign, encompassing 100 days of global celebration.
From 1 September till 9 December 2025, Banyan Group invites travellers to engage in 100 Discoveries, 100 Impacts, and 100 Stories. From curated experiences designed to foster authentic connections with the culture and character of each destination, to deepening Banyan Group’s impactful collaborations with local communities and environmental conservation missions, and sharing personal reflections of transformative journeys experienced at Banyan Tree hotels and resorts, guests are invited to play a central role in the celebrations.

Explore local culture and craftsmanship through Zen meditation at Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto, Tibetan black pottery-making at Banyan Tree Ringha, bamboo rafting at Banyan Tree Yangshuo, or the study of ancient rock formations at Banyan Tree AlUla—all part of the extensive experiences allowing guests to feel immersed in the essence of each location.
As part of Banyan Group’s “Embracing the Environment, Empowering People” ethos, the brand pursues partnerships and projects that positively impact people and places, from marine education, coral preservation, and bird conservation to rewilding animal species and Banyan Tree’s Stay For Good initiative, which supports community exchanges.
“As we celebrate the grand opening of our 100th property later in November, 100 Journeys reflects how far we’ve come and how we’ve grown,” said Banyan Group deputy chief executive Ho Ren-yung in an official statement announcing the “100 Journeys” campaign. “It’s a tribute to the communities that shaped us and a promise to continue creating meaningful, place-led experiences that stay with our guests long after the journey ends.”

A week-long festival will take place at Mandai Rainforest Resort from 27 November to 3 December to mark the occasion of the Banyan Group’s 100th opening and feature a wealth of activities and activations, with charitable initiatives in place to support Banyan Group’s commitment to responsible stewardship. Proceeds from the festival ticket sales will be matched by Banyan Group and are earmarked for donation to the President’s Challenge.
As part of the global celebrations, Banyan Group is encouraging past, current, and near-future guests to share memories of their stays at Banyan Tree hotels and resorts between now until 9 December, in an effort to build a library of contributed digital postcards documenting meaningful visits and the beauty of travel experiences—the best stories will win prizes, too.
