Como Hotels and Resorts just can’t get enough of the North Pole.
Following a sold-out expedition to the Arctic in 2025, the Singapore-based hotel group is returning to the polar frontier next year, with two new luxury cruises scheduled for May and September 2026.
Developed in partnership with Natural World Safaris, the voyages pair Como’s signature high-end hospitality with deep Arctic exploration. M/S Polarfront, a converted Norwegian weather ship spanning roughly 177 feet, will offer accommodation for just 12 guests across seven suites, adding a layer of exclusivity to the adventure.

The 2026 programme offers two distinct seasonal experiences. The first expedition, running 13 to 23 May, immerses travellers in the pristine stillness of early Arctic summer, when sea ice dominates and 24-hour daylight casts an endless glow on the landscape. The second voyage, taking place from 13 to 24 September, explores the region just as the final hues of summer fade and the Northern Lights begin to shine.
Departing from Longyearbyen, Svalbard, guests will journey through fjords and remote islands in search of polar bears, walruses, reindeer, Arctic foxes, and whales in their natural habitat.

Seafarers can partake in daily Zodiac excursions and guided landings with seasoned expedition leaders or join onboard lectures and photography workshops to learn more about ecology, sustainability, and local culture.
In keeping with Como’s focus on wellness, each guest can enjoy specialist treatments by expert bodyworker Matteo Pasquali, as well as access to an onboard sauna and hot tub to warm up in the frozen seascape.
Como has gourmands covered, too, with full-board meals crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The East-meets-West fusion dishes are inspired by COMO’s hotels and resorts around the globe, naturally. Guests will also be served signature Shambhala ginger tea and cookies by the onboard culinary chef, because why not?

As for accommodation, suites range from 178 to 947 square feet. The highlight is the spacious Owner’s Suite, which has a separate lounge area.
Prices start at approximately US$3,100 (£2,300, approximately HK$24,155) per night for single occupancy and US$5,300 (£3,900, approximately HK$41,295) per night for double occupancy, inclusive of a one-night pre-expedition stay at Longyearbyen’s Funken Lodge with a wine-paired dinner.
