Hong Kong Golf & Tennis Academy (HKGTA) is opening a new Town Club in Central this November.

Spanning two floors of the New World Tower in Central, the 18,000 square feet HKGTA Town Club will be home to refined restaurants, bars, and secluded private rooms. The exclusive and private venue will be accessible only to those by invitation.

Dining options will include the modern high-end seafood grill restaurant Saffron, Teak House that serves classic Southeast Asian favourites, and Yakumo for a dedicated multi-course kaiseki experience.

As for watering holes inside the private club, there is the Safari Bar, Whisky Box (features a 250-bottle strong library of aged and rare spirits), and The Cave, a cellar room housing over 2,000 bottles, including over 500 classic and progressive wine labels from around the globe.

Exclusive benefits will be extended for the exceptional few Founding Patrons under the parent group, New World Development. These exclusive perks include priority consideration for patronship at HKGTA’s sports, wellness, and lifestyle destination in Sai Kung, exclusive invitations to signature events and occasions, as well as limited access to first-class health and wellness centre Humansa in Central.

“HKGTA Town Club will be an escape from the surrounding urban fabric of skyscrapers,” says Michael Stevens, General Manager of HKGTA Town Club. “We aim to be one of the Hong Kong’s most sought-after destinations and will bring together a diverse mix of fascinating and dynamic people from varied backgrounds, in a collective spirit of greatness.”

Earlier in July, HKGTA partnered with the multi-award-winning tennis player Rafael Nadal and opened Asia’s first Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre in its five-star sports facilities in Sai Kung.
