Benetti has unleashed another elegant temptress on the high seas.

The 220-footer, formerly known as Project Rinascimento, was built at the Benetti shipyard in Livorno, Italy before she was delivered to her owner last autumn. She is currently sailing under the name Lady A and has most recently been spotted near Italy, according to Boat Pro AIS. (Benetti hasn’t got any photos of Lady A on the water, but it has shared some renders of the yacht.)

Penned by Giorgio M. Cassetta, the fully custom superyacht combines exceptional pedigree with immaculate craftsmanship. The vessel takes design cues from the 206-foot Metis—the award-winning superyacht that Cassetta and Benetti delivered in 2018—but is larger and arguably more luxurious than her predecessor.

Lady A showcases a streamlined exterior, with a sharp vertical bow, a sleek steel hull, and a lightweight aluminium superstructure. Teak runs across all six decks, creating a classic, high-class feel.

With a beam of almost 38 feet, Lady A offers an abundance of space onboard, too. Designed by the in-house team, the interior combines rich curly maple and Macassar ebony wood with gleaming black and white marbles by Saint Laurent. The generous layout includes seven cabins that can collectively sleep up to 14 guests and an elevator that allows seafarers to easily access all levels.

The upper deck is reserved exclusively for the owner and includes a full-beam owner’s cabin with a private study and dual bathrooms. The main deck is home to two spacious VIPs, while the lower deck is fitted with four guest cabins and the crew quarters. Lady A can accommodate up to 19 crew, ensuring guests receive five-star service.

Designed for entertaining, Lady A has several alfresco areas fit for outdoor soirees. The bridge deck, also referred to as the “party deck,” sports a large bar and plenty of lounge seating. The sundeck is equipped with a Jacuzzi and the requisite sun pads, while the foredeck is centred around another plush lounge. Lady A welcomes relaxation, too, with the beach club on the lower deck featuring a calming hammam.

As for grunt, Lady A is powered by twin diesel Caterpillar engines capable of producing more than 1,800 horses. The yacht can hit a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots, and cover some 5,000 nautical miles. This temptress isn’t just elegant; she’s powerful, too.
