Pharrell Williams wants you to ditch the briefcase.

The multi-hyphenate, who is currently the men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton, has designed a new line of men’s leather goods for the French fashion house. LV Touch puts a new spin on workwear, with four bags that delicately balance form with function.

The pieces are fit for daily wear, combining practical, utilitarian design with the quality craftsmanship for which LV is renowned. The house’s signature elegance has been woven into the styles, too, with the quartet showcasing classic silhouettes, subtle hues, and timeless materials that create a quiet luxury feel.

The leather is the real star here, though: Each piece is meticulously crafted from naturally supple, grained calfskin and features suede accents and linings. The house says that the combination of textures “elevates the sensory experience,” further highlighting the softness, comfort, and durability of the material. These are bags that you will want to touch and feel. The new LV Touch leather is presented in black, brown, and khaki.

The collection also reinterprets LV’s archival icons through a modern, masculine lens. The Steamer 30—a foldable bag created in the early 1900s to fit in the travel trunks of that era—has been reimagined with a more softened, contemporary structure. The modern successor (US$6,750/approximately HK$52,545) is smooth, grained leather on the outside and suede on the inside. (The collection also includes a more casual Steamer backpack.)

In another nod to the past, the bags sport a tonal suede front pocket with a topstitched V design inspired by former house leader Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s “V” blazon. The V-shaped carabiner on each is also adorned with the house’s monogram flower that was created by Louis Vuitton’s son, Georges Vuitton, in 1896.

That is not to say LV Touch is stuck in the past. The Verso Hobo bag (US$3,950/approximately HK$30,750), for instance, introduces an innovative, reversible design with smooth, grained leather on one side and suede on the other. It also comes with a removable suede pouch that can hold your smaller bits and bobs.

Completing the collection, the Delta Slingbag (US$3,400/approximately HK$26,470) can be worn across the chest or over the shoulder and has a large zipped compartment for your wallet, keys, and phone.
