This is the watch for both aviation geeks and watch lovers.

Co-launched by Breitling and Cathay Pacific, this collector’s watch is a special edition of the Swiss maker’s signature Navitimer pilot watch, and marks the chronograph’s 70th anniversary.

The Navitimer chronograph is one of Breitling’s most popular pilot watches. Its most prominent feature is its integrated slide rule, which enabled pilots to handle essential flight calculations such as average speed and distance flown before flight computers were made available onboard. Its distinctive baton indexes, trio of chronograph counters, and notched bezel that allows for easy grip are other highlights.

The co-branded Navitimer B01 Cathay Pacific Limited Edition comes in only 200 individually numbered pieces. The 43 mm timepiece retains the signature design details of the Navitimer combined with a dial in Cathay Pacific’s signature jade green colour, which contrasts with the white chronograph counters and brown alligator leather strap.

Emblazoned at 12 o’clock is the winged logo of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the largest aviators’ club in the world. The watch’s caseback is engraved with the words “Cathay Pacific Edition” and its individual number of 200, while the COSC-certified Calibre 01 chronograph movement can be seen thanks to the open caseback design.

The timepiece is now available for pre-order on Cathay Pacific’s Asia Miles shopping platform, and is expected in January 2023. Customers will also receive a complimentary calf leather strap in black.
