Ferrari and Richard Mille’s RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph emerges as a highly coveted collaboration, bringing to the table the essence of both brands in peak formation: innovation, performance, and impeccable design. Limited to just 150 pieces—75 crafted from micro-blasted titanium and 75 from carbon TPT—this watch not only pays homage to the marque’s illustrious legacy but also sets a new benchmark in high-complication timepieces that Richard Mille has been perfecting for so many decades.
In fact, the genesis of the RM 43-01 is a testament to the synergy between Maranello and Les Breuleux. Each watch is a canvas where engineering prowess meets aesthetic brilliance. Ferrari Centro Stile’s involvement has been pivotal, influencing everything from the watch’s silhouette to intricate details such as the crown and the strap, which features a pattern reminiscent of the Purosangue’s luxurious seats—a deliberate design choice that encapsulates the passion and precision that define Ferrari as a leading automotive giant.
A striking titanium plate, laser-engraved with the iconic Cavallino logo, occupies the space left open during the movement’s development. Inspired by the rear wing of the Ferrari 499P, this detail is a nod to the marque’s automotive heritage, seamlessly blending watchmaking with the world of high-performance cars. Moreover, the RM43-01 calibre is a marvel of engineering, developed over three years to ensure optimal performance and durability.
