The Peninsula Hong Kong commenced the festive season with “The Peninsula Express—Festive Extravaganza” on 21 November 2024, featuring a musical journey, a feast, and a tree-lighting ceremony. During this period, the first floor of the hotel is transformed into the Grand Salisbury Station, featuring a custom-built Peninsula Express train carriage. With its signature Peninsula Green exterior and richly appointed interior, this dining experience is designed to take guests on a journey through iconic Chinese destinations, inspired by The Peninsula hotels in Shanghai and Beijing. Reservations for this unique gastronomic experience can be made on a per-table basis, accommodating up to four guests. 

Gaddi’s.

The feasting does not stop there. The Peninsula Hong Kong is offering an exquisite array of holiday dining experiences throughout the season. Among them, Gaddi’s, the  Michelin-starred French restaurant, invites guests to enjoy a sophisticated dining experience amid elegant. Chef de cuisine Anne-Sophie Nicolas presents a selection of French haute cuisine specialities that pair well with the wine list.

For an equally delightful experience, Aurélie Altemaire, chef de cuisine of Felix has crafted a seasonal menu to celebrate the flavours of the holidays, complemented by creative cocktails. The combination of stunning vistas of Victoria Harbour and culinary excellence makes Felix a must-visit destination, whether to celebrate Christmas with loved ones or for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve countdown.

The festive offerings extend to The Lobby, where guests can indulge in the renowned Peninsula afternoon tea, enhanced with seasonal delicacies and live carol performances. In the spirit of the season, the hotel is proud to introduce the festive-themed Teas of Hope afternoon tea, in which a portion of the proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish International, a non-profit organisation that grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses, providing them with hope and joy.

Chesa.

An unmissable classic during the festive season is the culinary indulgence at Chesa, the hotel’s timeless Swiss restaurant. Evoking the atmosphere of a mountain chalet, Chesa’s iconic cheese fondue and raclette is the quintessential winter meal.

Star Ferry x The Peninsula Hong Kong.

To top it all, this festive season, guests are invited to rejoice in its celebrated Afternoon Tea on the Harbour experience, resuming its enchanting voyages on the iconic Victoria Harbour from now till 31 March 2025. Hop aboard the beautifully customised World Star ferry to enjoy breathtaking views and live music, whilst savouring a thoughtfully crafted menu by chef de cuisine Kay Ng, featuring seasonal delights and the renowned Peninsula raisin scones, paired with premium teas and coffees for a complete gastronomic experience. These voyages will operate on Saturdays and selected Sundays, with two sessions available.
