Hypebeasts are in for a treat this summer.

Louis Vuitton has just announced its hotly anticipated Timberlands will arrive in stores in less than a month. The boots and the rest of the workwear Pharrell Williams designed for the French maison will prelaunch on the LV website and app on 18 July, before rolling out to select international boutiques on 8 August.

Crafted in the house’s footwear atelier in Fiesso, Italy, the new boots retain the classic Timberland silhouette but showcase luxurious elements synonymous with Vuitton. Two designs are available in several styles, with pairs priced between €2,200 and €2,600 (or about HK$18,705 and HK$22,105). Regular Tims will set you back roughly US$198 (HK$1,545), meaning the coveted LV designation has resulted in a more than US$2,000 (HK$15,615) premium.

Developed in partnership with the storied American footwear brand, the new boots are crafted from premium Italian nubuck leather. Each pair comes with a padded collar, a soft footbed, and a rubber lug outsole that ensures both comfort and durability. The shoes are also waterproof and fitted with warm, down-free PrimaLoft insulation.

The new LV 6 Boots are almost identical to the original six-inch Tims but are embossed with the house’s iconic monogram. Available in either wheat or black, the shoes also showcase a monogrammed tongue, LV eyelets, and leather tags. The LV Boot, meanwhile, magnifies the standard six-inch silhouette by 15 per cent for a bolder, more powerful aesthetic. The chunky riff comes in four styles: an ankle boot, a ranger boot, a pull-on mid boot, and a pull-on harness boot. Black and wheat are again the colours of choice.

Vuitton is also releasing an “exceptional edition” of the LV 6. Limited to just 50 pairs, the six-inch ankle boots combine a monogrammed Italian leather exterior with a custom rubber lug outsole and 18-carat gold hardware. The gold LV tongue initials are inscribed with the words, “The sun is shining on us,” which men’s creative director Pharrell Williams reportedly expressed at his debut show for Louis Vuitton in June 2023. Priced at €75,000 (approximately HK$637,550), the flashy boots are presented in an elegant leather and plexiglass box.

The Timberland range is part of the workwear capsule that debuted at Pharrell’s autumn-winter 2024 men’s show in January. The line, which explores the American Western origins of workwear through the savoir-faire of Louis Vuitton, also includes ready-to-wear garb and a limited-edition toolbox bag based on the house’s iconic Keepall 50. Hypebeasts can shop it all come 8 August.
