What’s better than a James Bond-themed motorcycle? How about two of them once owned by one of the most beloved actors to play cinema’s favourite spy?

A pair of Bond Edition Triumph motorcycles, a Scrambler 1200 and Tiger 900, that belonged to Daniel Craig will be auctioned off separately by Bonhams in October. Whoever wins the bikes won’t just get a cool 007 memento, they’ll also be helping a good cause, as a portion of both sales is going to charity.

The two motorcycles, which are the first released in conjunction with the franchise, debuted in 2022, the same year the series celebrated its 60th anniversary. Triumph may be the UK’s most famous motorcycle manufacturer, but it wasn’t until entry no. 25, No Time to Die, hit theatres in 2021 that one of the company’s bikes appeared on-screen in a Bond movie. That film also brought an end to Craig’s five-film run playing the character and filled in his backstory like no other entry in the franchise.

The Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition was directly inspired by the Triumph that appears in one of No Time to Die’s most daring action scenes. It’s a stylish adventure bike with classic flare powered by a 1200 cc eight-valve engine that kicks out 89 hp and 81 ft lbs of torque. The trail-friendly Tiger 900 Bond Edition, meanwhile, is a two-sport bike that doesn’t appear in the movie, but wears a black and gold 007 livery and is powered by an 888 cc 12-valve mill that makes 93 hp and 64 ft lbs of torque. Both were exclusive models limited to just 250 units each.

Unsurprisingly, Craig’s bikes, both of which bear the actor’s signature, are both low-serial number examples. His Scrambler 1200 was the third to roll off the line, while his Tiger 900 was the first. They also come with certificates of authenticity signed by Craig and Triumph CEO Nick Bloor. Winning bidders are also eligible for a trip to the Triumph Adventure Experience in Wales, where they’ll receive riding lessons from Bond stunt coordinators Lee Morrison and stunt double Paul Edmundson.

Craig’s Bond Edition motorcycles will hit the block during Bonhams Autumn Stafford sale, which runs Saturday, 12 October, to Sunday, 13 October. The bikes are being auctioned as separate lots and are both expected to sell for between US$13,000 and US$26,000 (HK$101,365 and HK$202,735) each. A portion of the proceeds from both sales will go to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, a charity that saves lives at sea and which Craig has been connected to for years.
