In a remarkable showcase of nautical artistry, Benetti secured not one, but two prestigious accolades at the 2025 Design and Innovation Awards with its stunning 67-metre superyacht, Kasper 7. Held in the picturesque setting of Kitzbühel, Austria, the annual event recognised the yacht for Best Interior Design in the category for motoryachts over 500 GT, and Best Naval Architecture in the segment for displacement motoryachts.

Kasper 7, a fully custom creation, is the embodiment of the shipbuilder’s commitment to excellence in both design and construction. Lauded by the jury for its seamless blend of technical precision and aesthetic sophistication, the judges noted the yacht’s exceptional hydrodynamic efficiency, citing its design as a triumph of engineering that harmonises with the elegance of its form. With form and function in such aesthetic harmony, of course Benetti was bound to make a splash. Kasper 7’s interior design, crafted under the vision of owner and interior designer Nisrine Karagulla, has been described as reminiscent of an art gallery, showcasing an array of carefully curated objets d’art. Large, circular windows create a striking visual impact, flooding the main lounge and cabins with natural light while establishing a connection to the surrounding marine environment.

Karagulla, who also owns the interior design firm Ask Deco, expressed her delight at the recognition, stating that “this award is another important recognition of our collaboration with Benetti. M/Y Kasper 7 embodies our dream of creating a true home on the water.”

Camilla Calza, marketing director of Benetti, articulated the pride felt by the team, emphasising the privilege of transforming the owner’s vision into reality. Reflecting a perfect balance between luxury and comfort, the yacht’s design features fine materials such as oak and cross-cut travertine, enhancing the sophisticated yet informal atmosphere onboard.

Moreover, Kasper 7 has been awarded the three-star SEA Index certification, highlighting its commitment to environmental stewardship and marine sustainability, and underscoring the motoryacht’s advanced engineering, which allows it to achieve a maximum speed of 16 knots while maintaining fuel efficiency for long-distance cruising.

Founded in 1873, Benetti remains a bastion of Italian craftsmanship, dedicated to creating bespoke yachts that are as unique as their owners. With Kasper 7, Benetti not only reaffirms its legacy but also sets a new standard and high benchmark for the future of luxury yachting.
